  • Orders shall be considered confirmed only upon signing of the Purchase Order (PO) and receipt of the initial advance payment.

  • Any changes or modifications to the order must be mutually agreed upon in writing by both parties.

2. Payment Terms

A. Advance Payment for Rate Locking – 30%

The customer is required to pay 30% of the total project cost as an advance to lock the rates for critical components, including solar panels and inverters, as well as for the installation of structure and wiring.

This advance helps protect against market price fluctuations affecting critical components.

B. Partial Advance Payment – Less Than 30%

If the customer pays less than 30% as an advance, any subsequent increase in the prices of critical components, such as solar panels and inverters, due to market fluctuations shall be borne by the customer.

C. Payment Before Panel & Inverter Delivery – 60%

The customer must pay 60% of the total project cost before the delivery of key components, including solar panels and inverters, to the project site.

D. Final Payment After Net Metering – 10%

The remaining 10% of the total project cost shall be payable upon successful completion of net metering and final commissioning of the solar system.

3. Financing Terms

  • Customers opting for financing are required to pay 20% of the total project cost as an advance at the time of booking.

  • The remaining payment must be disbursed through the approved loan within two weeks.

  • In case of delay in financing disbursement, any increase in the prices of materials, including solar panels and inverters, shall be borne by the customer.

4. Material Safety & Liability After Delivery

Once the materials are delivered to the customer’s site, their safety and security shall become the sole responsibility of the customer.

Any damage, theft, loss, or mishandling of materials after delivery shall be borne by the customer.

5. Equipment Placement & Location Locking

During the site visit, the customer must finalize and approve the placement of equipment, including:

  • Solar panels

  • Inverters

  • Wiring pathways

  • Other relevant system components

Any subsequent request to change the equipment location that requires additional materials, labour, or installation work shall include extra charges payable by the customer.

6. Maintenance & Cleaning Services

The standard package includes:

  • Quarterly maintenance services, or

  • Four cleaning sessions per year

Any additional maintenance, cleaning, or service visits beyond the standard package shall be chargeable separately to the customer.

7. Load Enhancement & Other Charges

Charges related to load enhancement, name correction, meter-related changes, or other electricity-board formalities shall be payable separately by the customer as per the applicable Electricity Board/DISCOM norms.

8. Warranty

Solar Modules

All solar modules installed under the project carry:

  • 12-year manufacturer’s warranty against manufacturing defects.

  • 30-year linear performance warranty, ensuring that the modules perform at or above the guaranteed power output levels specified by the manufacturer over the applicable warranty period.

Inverter

The inverter shall be covered under a 5-year, 7-year, or 10-year manufacturer’s warranty, depending on the model and manufacturer.

The warranty shall be effective from the date the equipment is ready for dispatch from the manufacturer’s works, as per the manufacturer’s applicable warranty terms.
